bdmetronews desk ॥ Barcelona scored a goal against Real Celta Vigo this weekend when Lionel Messi stepped up to take a penalty kick, and instead of shooting the ball, calmly laid it off to his right, a yard away. With the goalie on the ground and the defenders stunned, his teammate Luis Suárez ran up and buried it in the bottom corner.
It was one of the most audacious penalty kicks ever attempted, and according to Messi and Suarez’s teammate Neymar, it wasn’t even how they drew it up.
The ball was supposed to go to Neymar.
