bdmetronews desk : Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday met his Pakistani counterpart PM Nawaz Sharif at the UN Climate Summit in Paris.
Both the leaders were seen shaking hands before the summit where 150 heads of states and governments will make three-minute speeches each, offering their political support to the negotiations that are expected to deliver a landmark global agreement on climate change.
Earlier in the day, in a blunt warning to rich nations, Modi today told developed countries which powered their way to prosperity on fossil fuels that it would be “morally wrong” if they shift the burden of reducing emissions on developing countries like India.
