bdmetronews desk ॥ Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre is organising an evening of recitation, songs and talk in a programme titled ‘Aninditar Thakurdar Jhuli’by Ms. Anindita Kazi from India at 6:30 PM on Friday, May 20, 2016 at the IGCC, House No. 35, Road No. 24, Gulshan-1, Dhaka. The programme is a tribute by Ms. Anindita Kazi to her Grandfather Kazi Nazrul Islam on the occasion of his 117th Birth Anniversary.
Ms. Anindita Kazi is the daughter of Aniruddha Kazi and granddaughter of Bangladesh’s National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam. She got a first class in music from Allahabad University. She was formerly President of Tara TV, one of the most popular Bengali TV channels of India.
Anindita is also a reputed Nazrul Geeti Singer and Elocutionist and has given many performances in TV channels and stages in India, Bangladesh and many foreign countries. She has also received many awards.
All are cordially invited to attend the programme. Entry is open to all (there is no need to collect Invitation Pass).
